Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay guys. I have a 1997 dodge ram 1500
5.9L.. It stalls out at an idle, makes like a
whistle sound. doesnt stall out every time
though. I have replaced fuel pump, plugs,
wires, idle air control valve, and pcv valve. I
am out of ideas on what it could be. I have
checked for a vacuum leak and found none.
No codes or check engine light on.

Put a scanner back on your technological terror, 1 that can read live data and see what the intake air temp sensor and/or engine coolant temp sensor readings are. Do this while the engine is at normal operating temp.
