Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a dodge ram 1500. So i left my lights on and the
battery went dead. So i jumped it twice and the battery
keeps going dead. I would leave it running and drive it for
about 10 minutes. Then i shut it off again and the truck dies
again. So i check the connections and anytime i wiggle the
negative on the battery it flickers. So i tighten it and the
truck starts right up but now the truck only will run if my
foot is in the gas. If not it stalls instantly. Any answers?

Sounds like you're talkin' bout multiple problems here. As far as the "stalling" problem goes...remove the throttle body (if you're so inclined) and clean her REALLY good with some intake manifold spray cleaner, giving special attention to cleaning the idle air control valve and associated channels on the throttle body. They're located on the back of the unit. If your charging the battery again, best leave sleeping dogs lie...unless it's intermittent. Then either replace the terminal or clean it.
