1995 dodge ram bigger wheel 2wd

Asked by Jamesman568 Jun 13, 2020 at 04:26 AM about the 1995 Dodge RAM 1500 LT RWD

Question type: Car Customization

I put on some bigger wheels and tires today. I put on 285/55/R20. I have a
problem with rubbing on both wheel wells when I turn the wheel really far.
Would a 2” leveling kit get rid of my problem? I will also mention that I did some
trimming it helped but didn’t get rid of my problem as the wheels hit when I turn
and hit bumps.

It should. Some lift-kit websites tell you what size of tire the kit can clear, so you can compare that to the size tire you have on. Also, wheel backspacing/offset is important. Too far back and the tire will rub.
