Bad hose or seriously plugged up air filter it's about the only logical answer to the hose collapsing.

air intake hose was replaced 3 months ago,air filter was replaced about a month ago

Other than what comet said the only other thing would be Heat make sure it's not laying around anything hot... Hope this helps

Maybe the hose is no good anymore. The rubber material may have deteriorated.

It's either a restriction (air filter or air inlet, anything before the point of collapse) or the material making up the hose is too weak. Most intake kits I've delt with arnt soft rubber, what system are you using?

could have been a POS technician that bent it to hell and back if you got your filter changed at one of those 10-15 min oil shops
