Asked by GuruB3Z4R Jan 25, 2019 at 12:28 PM about the 2001 Chevrolet S-10 Extended Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 2001 4.3 v6 s10. When I feel the radiator up
with cape off it's trying to over heat and it pushes
water back out of it. Also my heat isn't always
working

1 Answer

Possible air pocket in engine. Also possibly has bad or incorrectly installed thermostat. Could be as bad as a blown head gasket. Or cracked head.
