Try a different brand of oil filter. A friend once had this problem with a 1995 S10 and he noticed the holes in the oil filter looked kinda small. He replaced the filter with a Delco oil filter with larger holes and the oil pressure problem went away. My 2003 S10 Pick Up with the 4 cylinder engine literally just hit 300,000 miles last night. It's oil pressure when fully warmed up is about 20 PSI on the dash gauge at idle. Hope that helps! Jim

I bet Js does a 5 star job of maintaining his vehicles. Neglected cars and trucks wear out much faster.

if it still is low, clean the oil pan and see if you can get any sludge out from the oil intake .
