2000 Chevy S10 No start, has fire and fuel at rail

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm working on a 2000 S10 4.3 .No start
condition. I have worked on these engines
before and usually it's always the
distributor cap or rotor button due to
moisture or corrosion. On this one. I have
changed the distributor due to rotor button
being broke and bolts stuck in dis. So I
have fire and I have fuel at the fuel rail but
have not ran a pressure test yet. Do you
think it could be lack of fuel pressure
causing injection system not to operate?

Sure checking fuel pressure is always a good idea. If you have the spider fuel system, that system is noted for problems. The pressure is usually around 60--66 psi, key on engine off. I don't have that spec right in front of me, double check.
