Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello I have a 97 Chevy s10 ls 4x4 4.3 vortec. Was
fine last night when I parked. Today let warm up as
it was 14 degrees out. Pulled out driveway when I
hit 25 the whole truck started shaking violently
until hitting 45-50 mph then competly stopped.
Now each time from 25 to 45-50 it shakes bad and
stops above said speed.

I don't think so but can check. I'm gonna go to local tire shop and have them checked out. I have some pretty meaty 31 inch bfg all terrains on it so I would hope they would be tougher than that but who knows. I'm hoping to get lucky and need tires rebalanced can't afford a big repair or new tires lol Michigan winter has business slow at work.

I have no idea lol. What is that? I bought the truck with worn down 31s and just replaced the tires. Somewhere down the line someone swapped a zr2 suspension which rides higher and 31s on zr2 rims.

Ill definitely look into it. Ill post back what I find out. Hopefully its cheap with slow business I've lost a lot of hours so money is tight. Bad time of the year for my truck to give me trouble lol. Thank you for the info give me some starting points.

Check the inside of the wheels to make sure that no snow, ice or mud has stuck to them. That sometimes can make them shake violently.
