How do i get the rear extended cab door open if the cable is brken .

The latch is at the top of the door. Pry out the top a little so a flat tool can be placed. You have to manually released the lock mechanism at the top. ONce the door is open you can change the cable from the inside after removing the panel.

Anyone know how to open bottom latch if cable is gone? No one seems to answer that question

It took a while but I figured it out. Sit in back as best you can and put your left hand through the speaker hole and reach down to where the lock is. It has a piece of sheet metal over it so it's located in an enclosed area, open only on that one side. Anyway, reach in and on top of the lock is a little lever you can push or pull--don't really remember--but move it and when you do the door will open so you can now unscrew the lock.
