Driving home yesterday truck was running fine. About halfway home I thought I heard a whining noise. I needed gas & when I came to a stop the truck stalled. Now it has a clacking noise & when I come to a stop the oil pressure drops out & the truck dies. Very rough idle. The following codes pop up: P0171, P0340, P0012, P0022, P0119, P0174, P0175, P0351, P0356.

No need for anybody to respond. I am going to buy a new truck. I brought the truck to a mechanic (not a dealer) & someone who is trusted. The 5.4 Triton engine is a Ford engineering problem..it is either put a new motor in this 04 truck (same motor) or buy a new truck. The problem is oil issues that affect the timing and everything else leading to the death of the motor. He said to not spend the money on a new motor (same motor with engineering issues) & get rid of the truck. I am going to get another truck.
