2003 f150 brake/turn signal lights

I have a 2003 f150 5.4 4x4. I have been pulled over
twice in the last month in the same spot for the
same reason-brake light! Good verbal warnings for
both but each time I get to work and have a co-
worker point out which 1 is giving me problems,
both times everything worked fine. But after
thinking about it I tried The  brake applied and a
turn signal at the same time and whichever side you
have your turn signal on-it's just turn signal no
brake light but the opposite light is brake light. Is
this normal and should I expect to continue getting
pulled over???

Make sure you have the correct bulbs installed the bulb should have 2 elements in each one for turn and brake and one for park, when in brake and turn the light will blink bright and go off this is normal for the side you are turning. For. Maybe you have a 3rd brake light that's out. Next time you get pulled ask the cop exactly which light is out
