F150 2002 5.4 liter

My  f150 started running like it was running
out of gas but I had plenty of fuel in the tank
I changed the filter and it is still running
poorly did it jump timing or or is it just
missing it also is back firing

Check visible hoses for a potential vacuum leak? I’d put a test light to the pump itself if no bad hoses, just bc you hear the pump come on doesn’t necessarily mean it’s pumping the amount of fuel you need

    just picked up a 2002 f150 v6 4x4 manual trans. The 4x4 shifter is really stiff and tough to get in and out of 2h, 4h, 4l. What maintenance can I do to ease this up a little? Thanks
