Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My starter has been going bad for a while now and
that's the only problem I've ever had with it but this
morning when I cut it off it immediately died. I
jumped it off drove it for an hour  when I got home
it died again.

Starter? when you turn the key, does it make a clicking sound? From your ? sounds more like your Alternator then your Starter!

Clicks usually is a low or bad battery. Always eliminate the easy stuff first. Have your battery tested, then the charging system. Also don't listen to bad advise.
