need molding for '99 f 150 ext cab w/slider manual, help

Unfortunately, the local ford parts dept is of no help. thus i'm trying the forum. does anyone know if the 97-03 cab windows are interchangeable for the XLT You know, reg cab to supercab, slider to stationary?

Try using Ford Parts.com. Normally parts are not available from dealerships dealerships for vehicles over ten years old, but you can at least obtain the part number if not available. With the part # you can search the net. I located a plastic windshield cowl for a 99 explorer from a distributor by using the part numbers on the search.

have been unable to obtain the part no. from ford. It only has a pic with discontinued next to it. This is both online and through the dealership. I've tried to locate using my vin # as well. I find it hard to believe this truck is such a unicorn. That they made this window and molding for just this vehicle and its not interchangable. This is what both body shop, safe- lite, and ford are saying. Still waiting for that special person who actually no the specs on this cab rear window and if there's another option ourt there. thanks

Well Hello Ladies & Gents.....I'm NOT a Taurus for Nothin'. Found my Aftermarket OEM part....YES, you heard right. I found it and now have it, along with a beautiful new window. Guaranteed leak free, I might add. Thanks to the following companies...TascaParts.com for the molding & Safelite AutoGlass for my new window. I also have to do a shoot out to Advanced Auto Parts for my 3rd brake light replacement too. (unrealized broken mount on backside of old light) FAST shipping w/o additional cost. There you have it. It looks absolutely GREAT!! PASS THE WORD, PLZ. This has been a horrible past month for me. If we can save anyone else this anguish, we should. Thanks again, Peace...Out
