1997 F-150 5.4 Triton 4x4 Starting issue after new starter,

I have put a new starter in a 1997 F-150 5.4 Triton 4x4,  After I put the new starter in I went to the cab of the 1997 F-150 and radio and all the electrics inside came on including the light . But  when I went to start I it didn't start their was no noise at all just didn't start. PLEASE HELP.
