Bad Ground??

I was driving home the other day and the yoke fell apart,
Called the tow truck, i went under the chassis to tie up the
drive shaft, i touched the exhuast and got a shock, electric
shock, i disconnected the battery both pos & neg, still an
electric shock??

It'll sound strange but that's your static electricity coming out of your body and shocking back at ya.
