replacing supercharger with intake and carb on lightning engine.
i have a chance to buy a lightning engine that is minus the fuel injectors and the wiring harness from computer to rear of engine, my question is can i take the supercharger off and replace it with a 351 intake and carb?

This engine would run alot better with the original set up , but , you could go with a carb/intake set up. Provided the intake and gasgets are available for your application .
You should be aware that the engine will be of a lower compression and the cam in it,is designed for a supercharger application . this means it will be a bit of a "dog" unless you look into changing the cam , pistons and connecting rods to make the engine closer to non supercharged type of motor.
