spark ? or lost spark ? Two mechanics, huh...........you need a technician.

All cars need fuel, air (oxygen), and a good spark to start.

The recall, needs to be done,it is your ignition switch causing the issue.

Are there TWO recalls? You say " I went to get a recall for my antitheft system light" Does that mean they performed a repair ? Installed a part ? Or the GM passlock had some issue ? What was your recall number ?

Is there a second recall for an ignition switch ? If that is outstanding during your cranks, no-start issue, the recall is best performed before attempting to solve the no-start. What is THAT recall number? You receive a letter anytime you have a recall. You can search online for info about any recall. You can request to read your recall. You must know your VIN. and tell it to your dealer to clarify what your vehicle issues have to do with GM recall , if anything.

Does the car have a service code stored in it's memory ? You can get a code scanner at the parts store and return it to them after using it.
