Marsh map 2013 Chevy Malibu will not start and the Anti-Theft light keeps coming on can you tell me why?

I have a 2003 Chevy Malibu and I have had mechanics look at over last 2
months I will go out for two weeks at a time and it will run and start just fine
and then I have those certain days I go out and it will not start and I noticed the
anti-theft lights are on . I am a single mother  and I have not got of money to
pay to get this fixed can someone please help me I thought Chevrolet's were
supposed to be better than Ford's I guess I was wrong!!!!!

Sounds like the key got wet and the battery inside it is going dead /// chances are if you use your spare key then you won't see the security light

Changing the battery is easy but I like to do it quick so it won't lose'memory.(most have flash memory but this old dog can;t break old habits) Keys are easy to program but you have to have 1 good working key to do it..... Ebay has keys for your car at less the $10 for 2 but you have to get them cut then it's east to program the (the car does all the work .. all you do is follow the simple instructions

My last mechanic spliced​ a wire why he was trying to fix the anti theft system and now if it doesn't start I have to raise the hood and take that wire and put it to the battery and Spark it up to make it start and I don't like that???
