Good advice from Ed .(See Ed, you can be helpful when you try. :) ) As well as scanning for trouble codes you might want to seek out the various ground points on the truck and make sure everything is tight and clean, and the battery terminals too for that matter. This smacks of a relatively simple electrical problem although it could certainly be a bunch of other more serious things too, as has been mentioned.
