2004 chevy cavaluer

My car barely started this mornint then drove
it a hundred feet or more then stalled. And
there is no check engine light on and there is
gas. And new fuel filter from this winter and
oil filter and spark plugs

So is it the fuel pump maybe it was going last year a garage said and could last a while or not.

Should I drive it to work three miles and hope it doesnt die on me in the side of the road ugh.
