Both windows in my car arent workng. One goes down but only 1/3 of the way and then the motor makes a winding noise. and the other can go down but wont go back up. it is a 2004 chevy cavalier. How do i fix this?

If they are like the Grand AM power windows, there are broken clips. I don't have power windows but I do read about others on GAOwnersClub.com. -- Look at a couple threads there to see how they repair it. You could replace the whole regulator too.
