The timeing belt shered some of its knubs and bent ever valve so in the process of rebuilding
the head can I put some kind of spacer inbetween the block and the haed to give more space
so this want happen again

It is possible but in order to change the spacing that much your compression ratio would be so low your car would probably not run. If this is your goal then consider swapping with a motor that is designed to be non-interferance. Most engines are interferance engines, timing belts should be done every 40-60,000 to avoid this. I do understand there are some freak situations.
