I have a 2005 chevorlet suburban 2x4. It runs ok then the trans seems to shift into nuet. then after shutting it down then restart it runs ok for a while then slippage starts again. Electrical?

Check the electrical plug on the passenger side of the transmission making sure its fully seated in it's housing and if that doesn't help have a service technician pull the codes on it for repair
