Car started 10 seconds later it backfired and died now wont start and no compression

you need to have a mechanic run checks on your car. Didna mechanic run a compression test and tell you there was no compression in any of the cylinders? Thats bad news because it means you have to replace the engine, and only a qualified mechanic can tell you, while looking at your engine. Wish you the best either way
