Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car feel like it is grinding when I slow down and then while it runs at slow speeds. I do
not hear a grinding noise, I feel it in the pedals and in the cabin. My first thought was the
brakes pads were worn out but I checked that and they probably have 30% left of life left.
I was puzzled when he grinding feeling continued after I released the brake pedal.

Any ideas?

Brake pads have wear bars on them so when they wear a certain amount the bars will contact and grind on the rotors to alert you to replace brakes soon. Did you notice if these little bars were touching the rotor or not? What about the rear brakes? Are they drum brakes or disc? Also do you remember using the parking brake handle? If you've NEVER used parking brakke and after a lot of miles you use it, it can cause problems if the parts are corroded or stiff.
