i changed out the starter on 05 corolla all engine would do is make one click and not turn over , replaced starter still getting same results

Car engine wouldnt turn over, would only get a click from the starter and then
nothing.. replaced starter after testing battery, battery is good, and I'm still
getting the same results. Any help?

how do i get to that? relatively new at this and dont have the finances for a mechanic at the moment and its my only method of transportation.
