2005 Toyota Corolla CE ---check engine light on , what to do?

My 2005 Corolla has the "check engine light " on. I have heard of this issue
before with same year and model of Toyota. How to I fix this?

Get the code for reason(s) of CEL. Autozone and other car part stores scan it for free. Then specify your CEL problem with code to address your problem.
