Cant figure out origin of a hose?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I poured leak sealant into the top of my 2002
corolla engine when you add the engine oil an
found it immediately leaking out of a short hose
sticking out of the fire wall, what is the hose
suppose to be connected to?

Leak sealant to your engine oil or coolant? A hose at the firewall would be a coolant or antifreeze hose attached to the heat core. Upload a photo here to help us.

Definitely sounds like a heater hose. Also, don't use a stop leak product. They cause more problems than they fix!! Hope that helps! Jim
