Hi stash84, While I wouldn't suggest swapping parts from a different year/make/model, there are sometimes different makes and models within the same car manufacturer that use the same parts. In your case, I would try to find out if the 2000 Toyota Celica shares its transmission with another of the Toyota autmobiles around the same year. I haven't been able to find anything online, but you could contact a transmission repair facility or Toyota dealership and ask your question. Good luck!
