cobalt wont start

so I work for a campany called jimmy johns and I always have to start and turn off my car well one day my car wouldn't even turn over it just made a bad noise and now the car wont start at all. ive checked the battery and everything else and yet it hasn't started. im pretty good knowing things about cars and right now I have no idea whats going on with it. help me with any responses about what you think is going on thank you

First thing first... determine if the problem is fuel, electrical or timing. How you do that is check if fuel pump kicking on and Sparks are coming to car. If your not then Sparks could be a sensor (Crank/cam) fuel could be a safety switch or pump or regulator. If not check timing jump. Spray ether into intake and try and start it
