Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My drivers side headlight only works (goes up) about 1/3 of the time.
It works fine sometimes and then it won't come up when turned on for a while (several trys)? Is there maybe a bad connection or a dirty connection that I could tighten or clean so it would work all the time?

Hi DG, It sounds like the lifting mechanism is having problems. I would inspect the headlight/cover and surrounding area for debris that could be hindering. I would also inspect the mechanism for any abnormal wear and tear that could have damaged the teeth/gears of the mechanism. Good luck!
