Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car recently started stalling when it is at a complete
stop. When i went to auto parts store they checked my
battery, starter, and alternator. told me alternator was
bad(regulator)  i replaced alternator and car still exhibited
same .symptoms so i went back and they told me same
thing. Car ran fine for the entire day then slowly started
flickering and almost died and radio powered off and car
died. is it too weird to go through 2 alternators in 2
months?

sounds like a bad short in the system draining the battery and in essence the internal voltage regulator to follow.

I would look carefully to all main connections both positive and negative . I scene a direct shot a positive to a direct ground short

Have you tried a to locate the short or just replacing parts that failed due to it? Disconnect the negative cable and connect a test light to the negative post while you touch the negative cable removed with the probe end of the test light. The light will light if power is drawn as it is now inline. Remove the fuses that normally draw power when the car is turned off such as the dome light that will draw power when the door is open, the radio as it will draw power to maintain settings. cigarette lighter and so on. once all these fuses have been removed you should have no light. If you have a short the light will remain. Remove each remaining fuse one at a time and replace if it does not effect the light. Once you find the fuse that effects the light you have found the faulty circuit. Now go through the circuit until you find the problem. this is refereed to as a parasitic draw test.

I have only replaced the alternator but i will definitely start there and see where it gets me. I have started to look at connections and potential loose wires bit have not gone in depth yet. I appreciate the advice and I will definitely look into all that
