Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This happened after jump starting my car. My idiot brother hooked up the cables backward on my car. It was like that for a couple of seconds. Now, the car will not go into drive without press the button in the consle in front of gear selector, none of the instrumentation works, power winds won't work, etc. Basically there's no interior power. Car will start and appears to drive good.

I guess my question should have been - Is there a main power fuse, or a relay for the interior power? If so where? If it's a relay are there multiple sources that feed it? I forgot to mention that the auto gear shift is locked and won't go into park unless the button on the console is pushed. I am assuming that the release to go into drive is associated with the loss of cabin power.

The fusible link for the cabin power is on the far left of the engine bay fuse/replay box. Marked Alt 100 amp. It is a male terminal fusible link. You can get that section of the box up by prying gently on the tabs. Once it's out you can check continuity of the link. If you need to replace take all 4 screws out. Be careful to note the position of the 4 wire terminals. 100 amp link is about $3.67 at Autozone. Fixed my problem.
