thanks and the site above does not show the filter location and the filter in the picture is not the filter installed? Any help is greatly appreciated. Alan
The 2006 and up trailbazer do not have a fuel filter. It gas a large "FILTER" sock located in the fuel tank with the pump. If you have a lean condition code on your check engine light, check your map sensor. Extremely rare to have a clooged sock in the tank.
But then why are there other sites that tell you 2003 to 2008 Chevy trailblazers have fuel filters located on the driver's side that are outside the tank? I'm confused, cause there are 2 different answers. But yet we cleaned our throddle body bought a new pump (Delphi) installed it. And put a new crank shaft sensor in and I still have trouble trying to get it started. I get crank but no start, or idle.
