My 06 Chevy Equinox is overheating, replaced heating sensor, water pump, did a radiator flush twice, could it be the radiator? Plus it is losing fluid, about 1/2 gallon each day

A lot of white smoke coming out the exhaust that has a sweet smell? If so that would be a head gasket or cracked head.

There is a small amount of white smoke but I only noticed it once

The coolant is going somewhere, need to figure out where. Check the oil to see if the oil level is getting fuller. Did some garage do the coolant flush? I ask because overheating is due to the cooling system needing to be purged from air, a bad thermostat, the fans not turning on, a bad head gasket or cracked head in your case. I don't thing the radiator is bad after flushing it.

blown head gasket!! I know because i went thru it wants before. Theres a flaw on the head gaskets on the 3.4 motors that general motors wont admit due to the cost to repair it.

I also have a 2006 equinox, nothing but coolant issues. It also has a blown head gasket. Seems to be a problem with this model.

What exactly does blown head gasket mean? Like. Is my car not going to he droveaboe for much longer if this is the issue?
