2006 Chevy Colbalt

Asked by gene6132 Jun 13, 2017 at 12:22 AM about the 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt LS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my wife parked the car and when she returned it would not start.  The
battery is 1 year old. I replace it along with the belt and alternator, the car
will crank but only sounds like the starter is working.  All lights and
accessories are working.  I checked most of the fuses and I think the fuel
pump is working because when you turn the key you hear something come
on and disconnect.  Any ideas?

I would check the fuel pressure and also to see if you have spark at the plugs.
