Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car runs fine... Starts cold. Go to store shut off
come back in 3 minutes ... won't start.
Wait 20 minutes starts...
Or change out coils start right away
I have a 2nd coil... I have learned through
experience of trying to find the answer to this
problem  I can easily change coil and it starts right
away... other wise I wait 20.
So for some reason something is saying or
resding... Coil too hot ..... not starting
I have replaced Igniter and the new coil...new wires
plugs...
Please help....
Was starting to study fuel temp switch...???

Thanks... That's what I did... I unbolted it from the manifold and laid it in top of 1/4 inch cork.... Took it for the drive 2 miles ...parked shut it off waited 3 minutes and it started ... Question is what sensor or is it brain box... Is saying coil too hot... won't start....??? It must be a sensor that is old or failing...otherwise it would have always acted the same ...from the beginning... Any thoughts? Any way to computer test...for that?

I would use some aluminum sheeting for a shield and add the cork to it. Can't say why this problem exists but since this car is 12 years old it may not be worth investigating further.
