Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car was doing fine n
then all of a sudden the
engine starting revving up
real high so let off gas it
went back to normal idle
n it was going about 5
miles an hour now it wont
go forward at all it will
back up a little. People are
telling me my clutch is
slipping
What do yall think? Help
please. Thank you
