I have a 2000 grand prix that i got a couple months ago and recently i noticed that it had a boost meter near where it tells me my average miles per gallon, It is not lit though like everything else, I was just wondering what i had to do to get it working again 3 Answers

i dont know much about cars i was just looking at putting some money into my car, and was curious about the boost aspect

I bought EGR Valve & Catalytic Converter for 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT 3.8L with 225k on Friday, Saturday I had it installed, I should of done the EGR myself just I'm not good with those things & didn't know if I replaced the EGR before the Catalytic Converter if that would mess anything up one before the other as I don't want to be stranded. Only thing is after those 2 things were replaced it still runs like crap. Suggestions? I've asked around. I've been told to get it hooked up to a computer. I contacted another mechanic in MN & he told me take the throttle body off & clean well & then replace.??? 8 Answers

I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.8 liter that is loosing power.. Eventually it dies and then doesn't want to turn over at all! Replaced fuel filter then mass air flow sensor. any ideas?? 6 Answers

It seemed fine after replacing sensor long enough for me to drive an hour tops before doing same thing again. Power loss while driving then completely dies for an hour or so
