i had my alternator and battery replaced ,but i still get a indicator telling me that there is a electrical malfunction , any ideas

Check and see if the alternator is putting anything out. If it isn't then test to make sure the alternator is getting the voltage going into it that tells it to run.

There is a fusible link between the alternator and the starter motor. If that link has melted, the battery will not see anything from the alternator.

I put a new battery and a new alternator on but still got trouble it will start with a boost and keep going but went I shut it of won't start again what could be the trouble
