You should use the recommended octane level fuel because this affects operating temperature and the engine is designed to operate at a certain temperature for optimum performance and efficiency. Using the wrong fuel would not cause the car to not start though. While it could be a number of things I would first suspect a failed fuel pump. Another possibility could be an issue with the anti-theft system. Good luck. Let us know how it turns out.

I'm having trouble trying to figure out what is wrong with my car not starting. Everything was okay yesterday and now it won't start. I check the voltage on the battery and its okay, also check all connection to the battery and that is also okay. I'm running out of options can someone HELP. please- When I turn the key to ACC. all lights come on but when I turn to start position all electrical equipment goes out and car won't start. Thats all i have right now. Thanks
