Engine/brake problem

I have a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.8L V6. So the
problem is when I got to hit the brakes the car
wants to sound like it's shutting off but it's doesn't
completely shut off. It just start to go into a really
low idle. What is the problem

Clean your theottle body out qith a scrub brush really good. when you open the valve you should notice a black ring where it closes. air coming past that keeps the car from stallin at low idle. If its sealed with carbon this will happen
