Abs system

Asked by GuruTND3K Jul 05, 2018 at 02:44 PM about the 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What causes my abs/ traction control light
to come on. I noticed a noise in the brake
system that sounds like it's rubbing and
when it does that the abs/ traction light
pops up. I had already changed two guide
pins and my brake pads

Might be damaged wheel sensor. Did you have a look at the condition of the wheel bearing when it was jacked up? Also check tone ring on the cv joint. they can crack and start making rubbing noises.
