Question type: Car Customization

I have a Grand Prix GT 04, & my
transmission is shot. I guess i have a 3.8
w/o supercharger option. Was wonder can i
replace it with the transmission with
supercharger option & if so, must i install a
supercharger rite away?

The naturally aspirated 3.8L Grand Prix came with a 4T65E transmission, but the Supercharged and V8 Grand Prixs came with a 4T65E-HD transmission with a different torque converter and different gear ratios. The transmission from a supercharged Grand Prix will not work with your car without re- programming the PCM.
