the job usually takes around 4hrs by a competent mechanic. I'd drop the car off if you don't want to sit around waiting.

He had my car for at his shop since Nov 6 On Oct 25 2019 I had my oil pressure sensor, oil pan gasket, oil housing gasket and house, elbows in cooling hoes and engine flush done. But the low oil pressure message kept coming on, immediately after I left the shop. So I call the guy and he said I need a oil pump....so I kept the car park for 7 days then I drive it back to shop on Nov 6....and it's still there....today the guy call me and said he believe that I need a crank shaft sensor.....NOW....the car was cranking fine before he replace the oil pump. So my question is....What is really wrong with my car??? The diagnostic test just said a oil pump....

Might be time for a second opinion, but since its already in his shop I'd have a good heart to heart talk with him about what he's done, what diagnostics he's been performing and what he intends to do going forward. If he can't give you some good answers then it might be time to pay him, call a tow truck and have it taken elsewhere, but that's not cheap either, so try to work it out first. Find out if he actually replaced the oil pump and if he did ask to have the old one back.
