Fuel system issues

Asked by James Jan 10, 2019 at 09:05 PM about the 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix,  Supercharged,  is
active like its running out of gas after a few
minutes of driving it.  If I shut it off for a few
minutes,  it will start up and run for a few more
minutes but then it will die out again.  I say its the
fuel filter,  but my husband thinks its the fuel pump
or a sensor.

And of course there's no substitute for scanning for trouble codes before doing anything too drastic. The computer usually has some sort of stored information on it and is just waiting to be asked.
