Asked by L12C Feb 24, 2011 at 02:14 PM about the 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix 4 Dr SE Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The car won't stay running.  I have replaced the exhaust, fuel injuctors, fuel filter, plugs/wires, idle control scensor, crank shaft sensor, EGR valve it will drive for a couple days and then stop.  The vehicle will just die and may or may not start back up.  The check engine light is not on so there are no codes being sent.

thry this: The camshaft position sensor mounts on the front of the engine, just above the crankshaft pulley. It is also to the left lower side of the serpentine belt idler pulley. The sensor typically has two wires leading from it. Read more: What is a Camshaft Sensor on a Grand Prix? | eHow.com http://www.ehow.com/facts_7286704_camshaft-sensor-grand-prix_.html#ixzz1EyyvZYLK
