I parked the car went back out to start it and it would not turn on...what is wrong

check your battery cable connections. pull each one off the battery and clean if it needs it. when you reconnect them and the bolt gets tight check and make sure the cables are also tight. then check and make sure you have battery voltage at the starter. also make sure it is in park all the way. you can even put it in neutral and see if it will start.
