Question type: General

It has a 3.1 multi port fuel injection but with two mufflers and two exhaust tips out of the back. Dose the dual mufflers give more performance than just a single muffler?

185 horses and the dual exausts dont make much diference, my pontiac has em but not enough commpression to maintain suficient backpressure to make full use of them but hte 3100 may be a different story

wow that was more than I thought due to the fact that my grandparents own a 99 buick century and it has a 3.1 SFI not mulit port and in the owners maual it said only 160 horses in that car.

Just double checked in two sources, 140 bhp and 185 flbs. of torque with the 3.1. If you had a 1994, it would be 160 bhp with torque the same. The dual exhaust was factory and didn't add horsepower, just a more sportier exhaust note and looks.
