brake line broke,new brake line installed but cant get fluidthru the line,front line is
fine,used a vacumm still no fluid.94 olds cutlass,3100 engine

If fluid doe.s not run through when you bleed it,you have a bad brake master cylinder.

even if runs thru the front and it wont bleed thru the abs bleeder screw for the back brakes but will for the front,i dont know if this matters but when the line broke the car set for a few months but no problems before that.

how do you check the master cylinder?

It will have to be removed,from car and bench tested,meaning pull it loose,put screw driver in end where push rod goe, s and push it,if you see fluid squirt out both fitting,s it will be good,if you dont,replace master cylinder,alot of them go bad when you re[place brake,s or bleed the line,s.
